Tijuana Tires

Every time in rains here in Baja, garbage and litter from the city flow down and end up on the beach. Most of the trash has been splintered into tiny pieces, but the larger pieces– most notably, tires– are whole. There’s something about the way the old black rubber blends into the sand that makes me want to photograph them.

Here’s one guy’s solution: build houses from tires.
